Building corporate visual identity

Helping media houses, organizations and businesses reinforcing their visual identity. 

I work holistically, clarifying the overall coperate visual identity. In parallel, I develop special brand character within the overall brand.

Setting the agenda

Developing digital products, aiming for the best user experience, through strong ideas, data, visual communication, culture and critical journalism.

Teaching media and workflows

Teaching students with a visual communication degree/background to enter into a process with professional weight and a sense of compromise.


Aug. 2011 – Sep. 2019:

Head of Design at Børsen A/S (Financial Daily) 

  • Editorial board member

  • Achievement in all categories of design awards in national and international design competitions. 
  • Complete redesign of Børsen Corporate Visual Identity, editorial and commercial. 
  • Full reorganizing of the Visual Department. 
  • Cross-organizational change of editorial workflow and structures. 
  • Redesign of infographics.
  • Redesign of Lifestyle.
  • Design development of  editorial subsites, cross-organizational, including concept, commercial and tech cooperation.

Nov. 2008 – Aug. 2011:

Head of Design at ALT for Damerne, Egmont (Woman’s Weekly magazine)

  • Editorial board member.
  • Budget responsibility.


  • Responsible for corporate visual identity, reorganization of workflow for the visual department. 
  • Cross-organizational change of all editorial processes. 
  • Introduction of new technical design system in collaboration with consulting firm. 
  • Development of visual identity digitally. 

Jan. 1998 – Nov. 2008:

Graphic designer at Dagbladet Politiken (Danish newspaper)

  • Page designer of all sections in all editorial departments.
  • Producing educational and instructional material, in collaboration with Ekstra Bladet, and teaching all editorial staff at Politiken in upgrading of CMS system. 
  • Achievement of design awards in national and international competitions. 

Jury member:

  • 2014, 2015: Anders Bording prize, the visual jury (National Competition)
  • 2016 – This year's newspaper page, Danish Media. (National Competition)
  • 2016 – European Newspaper Award. (International Competition) 
  • 2018 SNDS, the digital jury (International Competition)


"Beautiful newspaper design is not necessarily good newspaper design" 

Juror for 'Newspaper of the Year', Danish Media, I participated in a radio program, P1's 'People and Media' to talk about good and bad newspaper design.
